TODAY DENTAL gathers records that are already public — from Korea's HIRA, Naver Place and Google Maps — and lays them side by side under one consistent method. 88 areas and the public records of 10,821 dental clinics are covered so far.
Scope
What this site does
- Collects, per institution identifier, the specialist counts and fields, registered cone-beam CT units, and opening date that each clinic filed with HIRA (Korea's Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service).
- Attaches Naver Place visitor review counts and blog or cafe post counts, plus the Google Maps star rating and rating count where one has been collected.
- Runs those values through the same formula for each area and treatment field to produce a score out of 20, and prints every sub-score in the table so anyone can redo the arithmetic.
- Publishes guides and checklists covering what to ask at a consultation and what public records simply cannot tell you.
Boundaries
What this site does not do
- It does not provide medical advice or a consultation. Nothing here should be used to decide on a diagnosis, a treatment method, or whether to be treated at all — that decision belongs in a clinic, with a dentist.
- It does not visit clinics to judge clinical skill. The score reflects how much published evidence can be verified, not how good the treatment is.
- It does not accept material, copy or payment from clinics, and does not arrange bookings or consultations on any clinic's behalf.
- It does not collect personal information from patients. There is no enquiry form and no sign-up on this site.
Method
How the score works
Twenty points, four inputs — registered specialists (up to 8), registration in the field relevant to the treatment (up to 4), registered cone-beam CT units (up to 4), and how large the Naver visitor review sample is (up to 4). Ties break on visitor reviews, then specialist count, then the earlier opening date.
Specialist points are capped so that a hospital with dozens of specialists cannot take first place regardless of everything else.
Google ratings are displayed but never enter the score. Coverage differs sharply from area to area, so scoring on ratings would rank clinics by whether a rating happened to be collected rather than by anything about the clinic.
The biggest limit of this method is that most of what actually matters — materials, lab work, who performs the surgery, aftercare — appears in no public record at all. What you can settle here is a shortlist; the rest belongs in a consultation, in writing.
Updates
Update schedule and collection dates
Collection, recalculation and publication run automatically once a week, early on Monday. What you see now was collected between 2026-08-10 and 2026-08-29, and each area page states its own collection window at the top.
Before publication the scores about to go on screen are recalculated from the formula and compared; if they disagree, that week's release stops. The point is to prevent numbers from drifting out of line unnoticed.
HIRA filings and review counts change as clinics change them. A gap between the collection date and your visit is unavoidable, so call the clinic before you go.
Corrections
When something is wrong — requesting a correction
Whether you work at the clinic or are simply a reader, email the address below if you find something that does not match the facts. It gets checked and fixed. Four things make that fast:
- 1The clinic's name and address (many clinics share a name; the address is what identifies it)
- 2Which value on which page is wrong (pasting the page address is enough)
- 3The correct value
- 4Where that value can be verified (the HIRA filing, the clinic's own official notice, and so on)
Whatever arrives is re-checked against the original source. Once confirmed, it is reflected in the following Monday's update, and the collection dates shown on the page move with it.
This site has no power to change the source record, though. If the HIRA filing itself is out of date, the clinic has to correct it with HIRA, and we follow in the first update after that change becomes public. The same applies to counts that Naver or Google compile.
If you would rather a clinic not be listed at all, write to the same address. It will be considered on its merits.

Advertising and order
No clinic can pay to move up. The order follows the method above and nothing else, and no clinic is moved by hand.
There is no partnership with any clinic at present. If a revenue model is ever added, that fact and its effect on the ranking will be written on this page first.
